[...] Doug found my personal blog and encouraged me to share a post on the I Choose Indy site, which I just completed. Their goal is to provide a great grass-roots resource for folks who might be interested in the region by showing why others chose Indy, in their own words. Submissions from regional business professionals and political leaders on why they chose Indianapolis are searchable and categorized by Industry. [...]

Ummm, yeah. That's kind of spooky. Do you recognize my name from the events I was responsible for scheduling for the complex?

[...] Douglas Karr recently found this blog and let me know about another blog entitled “I Choose Indy”. He encouraged me to post an article there, which I’ve just completed here. Here’s a little bit about the site: While reading Naked Conversations (how blogs are changing the way businesses talk with customers), Pat Coyle was inspired to put the concepts to use with I Choose Indy. Recent articles in the Indianapolis Business Journal spoke to the ongoing efforts by regional leaders to market Indianapolis to the world with a cool logo and perhaps a nifty slogan. Rather than do this, why not have business professionals and political leaders in the region speak to why they live in or moved to Indianapolis? We’re proud of our city and our place in the mid-west, and there are too many reasons to choose Indy that simply can not fit into a catchy tagline. [...]
