I Choose Indy!

Bean Graphics has been serving the design needs of Indianapolis for almost 20 years. We have worked for Eli Lilly, Sallie Mae, Kelley Executive Partners, CID Capital and many others including the new addition to Indy’s bio-tech initiative, CoLucid Pharmaceuticals. As a result, we have found that we have been more than welcome here in this beautiful, safe, clean little city.

Currrently Bean Graphics consists of three designers. Of the three, two, Stefan and Rhaya, grew up in or around the Indianapolis area. Mandy, however, grew up near Dayton Ohio, but moved to Indianapolis so her husband could finish school. Mandy loves Indianapolis because there are plenty of great job opportunities, especially for her husband, an electrical engineer. She also loves that the city has all of the amenities of a large city, but still feels down to earth and warm, unlike some of the larger metropolis’. Plus, you don’t have to go too far to enjoy the tranquility of the rural landscape.

Rhaya, an IU grad, grew up in Fort Wayne and now lives in Carmel. She too enjoys the big city feel without the big city hassles like crime, traffic, cleanliness, and generally the high cost of living that comes with living in a large city. Indianapolis is also centrally located which makes traveling anywhere easy.

Stefan, on the other hand, had planned on moving out of the state to the Northwest. While he had hoped to get to Seattle, he is glad he stayed in Indianapolis. The arts and music in Indianapolis have really begun to make a name here. We’re not quite where Chicago is, yet, but we are starting to see a lot of bands, artists and designers coming to the area to make a name for themselves as well as our fine little city. He also hopes to get involved in the growing design community in order to help us grow as a community and bring major accounts into the Indianapolis area. He hopes to see similar things happen in Indianapolis with the design community that have been happening in Minneapolis.

We are excited to see Indianapolis constantly changing and growing. Indianapolis accommodates so many industries, and we hope to be able to assist these new businesses with their branding, identity, advertising, marketing and design needs.

We also love the fact that the arts have really become a big priority. With the recent expansion and redesign of the Indianapolis Museum of Art as well as the many new venues for music and entertainment, we here at Bean Graphics believe that Indianapolis is becoming that great world class city we have always aspired to be.
