Indianapolis is at the heart of “hoosier hospitality”. When this city sees an individual or family in need it takes action. Here is another chance for this city to prove to the world that it is “World Class”.
ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition is looking for a heroic hoosier family for next season. I received the following information from a member of their staff just yesterday:

ABC’s EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION
SEARCHING FOR HEROIC FAMILIES
Do you know someone whose home deserves an Extreme Makeover? If so, the producers of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition want to hear from you! Ty Pennington and his crew have been all across the map and they are ready to drive that infamous bus to Indiana!
What does it take to be picked for an Extreme Makeover?
We are in search of real heroes – people that have amazing strength and who have put their own needs aside to help someone else. In addition to heroics, the producers are looking for families whose homes are in dire need of help. We don’t want to tear down a nice looking house. We want to see houses that look like they might fall down on their own!
To be eligible: A family must own their own single family home and be able to show producers how a makeover will make a huge difference in their lives.
Interested families should: e-mail a short description of their family story to -
Nominations must include:
1. The names and ages of each member of the household
2. A description of the major challenges within the home.
3. Explanation of why this family is deserving, heroic, or a positive role model in their community.
4. Photos of the family and a photo of the home
5. Don’t forget to include a contact phone number.
The deadline: for nominations is May 9th, 2008.Don’t Delay! Please send story submissions as soon as possible!
For more information on how to apply please visit our website at:
http://abc.go.com/primetime/xtremehome/index?pn=apply
Who do you know in our great city that deserves such an amazing gift?
Hurry! The deadline for nominations is less than two weeks away. Let’s show the world that Indianapolis can scream, “Bus driver, MOVE THAT BUS!” louder than anyone!

Dear,
Extreme Make Over my name is Shelonda and I’m sending you my short essay on a great friend of mines in need of an extreme make over.
On Decemeber 16,2007 Desire Blue only son was murdered in a home invasion. In honor of his name she has been struggling to fix up her basement to fullfill her dream of openning a fun house for inner city children whom parents has been a victim of an violent act. Mrs. Blue has completed bake sells, fundrasiers and his two children has even done lemonade stands, but still struggles to complete her task. I feel that the extreme make over will not only help Mrs. Blue clean up her mess up stairs but will also help her meet the need a of a child grief. In honor of his name she has named the house WEEBLES FUN HOUSE. (www.weeblesfunhouse.com)

On behalf of family friends and comunity support we have submitted my cousin’s family Karmen & Ron Collins from Cromwell Indiana to receive an extreme home make over
We sumbitted an appication and dvd walk through of their home to extreme make over last week . Via the sanil mail –
Their twin daughters Lacey and Hope Collins are twin girls who where born 3 months permature Mothers Day 1995.
Both girls have sever cerebral palsy and cognitive disabilities & Hydrocephalus- a 4th degree bleed to the brain .
The family lives in a single wide moble home on a parcel of land in Cromwell Indiana – which was purchased new when the girls were babies- this home will not sustain the girls for the rest of their lives.
If they recieve an extreme make over – with a few minor tweaks their home can be gifted to another family .
Please visit the website and be sure to share it with others-
