Catch James Ervin Berry at Crackers This Weekend

I got a message today in my BrightKite account from James Berry. He’s a comedian that’s here in Indy this weekend performing at Crackers Comedy Clubs and he invited me to his show. I told him I’d check him out and see if I could help him promote his act a little bit.

I found these videos of him performing a couple of bits and he cracked me up so I’m going to do everything I can to catch him while he’s in town.

I’m perhaps even more impressed with the way he’s using social media. First, he found and contacted me via BrightKite, a location based social networking tool. A quick visit to his profile steered me to his website, the Rooftop Comedy site where I picked up these videos and let me know he was on twitter! What a great use of these tools to help him spread the word.

That was a great show! I don’t know what everyone else thought, but our table thought you should be the headliner! You folks have got to catch him tonight or tomorrow night. Saturday night Crackers Downtown shows at 8:00pm (SOLD OUT!) and 10:30pm. Sunday night at 8:00pm at Crackers Broadripple.
